The Watcher: [Opening story of each episode] Time. Space. Reality. It’s more than a linear path. Edited at Marvel Studios: Legends: Guardians of the Multiverse (2023). A very simple episode about rushing things to get the pieces of the puzzle right. And my expressions were also quite dull watching this episode because it had no emotion or even logical narrative, I understand that it is perhaps an animated show aimed at children, but only those children who are familiar with the entire MCU so far, e.g. can enjoy it. Let’s see how the other episodes develop, but I’m really not very excited about them after this one. Edit: The second episode gave a real sense of what the MCU is all about, it was creative and thoughtful with some great WHAT IF moments. I really enjoyed seeing T’Challa back on screen. The third episode was crucial though and made me edit this review. It was so exciting and suspenseful to watch that I could have watched the entire movie in this episode. He re-examined the characters we know on a level that makes you want more. I hope to reach the 10 star edition by the end of the season. Edit II: Here’s one more star for "the stranger" A thought-provoking episode that was by far the best in terms of writing, voiceover, animation, and plot. Special mention to Benedict Cumberbatch who nailed the voiceover like a boss. Shout out to Marvel for doing this. By episode five, however, the episode was certainly entertaining, funny, and engaging with quality animation, but again, it showed too much without giving viewers enough time to absorb things. Still a 9/10 overall score for the series at least until the next two episodes. You’ll have to beat episode 4 to get a 10 from me.
